This is a series of time lapse videos I made at Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore in Michigan. A lot of the footage is around a shipwreck that relatively recently washed ashore during a major storm. I also captured the sunset.

If you've never been to Sleeping Bear it is a must see... as it is one of the most beautiful locations in the US. Also, on the lakeshore there are very few visitors because it is a difficult and long hike. I was there on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend 2011 and though there were hundreds of people at the popular Dune Climb at the start of the trail... I saw under a dozen over a course of six hours at the lake shore...
The first segment is at the overlook towards the southern end of the park. In the distance are North and South Manitou Islands.
The Shipwreck is in two pieces spaced about a quarter mile apart north of the end of the Dune Trail. Be aware that the Dune Trail is a very difficult hike and strong storms can move the shipwrecks around.
well done and i was thinking my sunset was good yours is awesome!!!!!!!! great work
