In this special mode, Kirby can't copy the abilities of his enemies. Instead, he has to find special ability trophies called the "Copy Essences Deluxe"!

In the year ????, the Sun and Moon began to fight, day and night. Troubled by this, Marx sends Kirby to gather the power from the stars around them to summon the wish-granting comet, Nova, to stop them from fighting!
