  • That is why i build my own pcs. No fuss no Bloat.

  • Its a shame that most PCs sold do not include a OS install disc, I prefer where possible to have a completely clean slate. Then I can download my own software, generally freeware.

  • @vivalanation734

this is 2007, and it probably was a model name

  • Fuck the mac

  • @Flybyhacker I know my Micafee is expired and it keeps on trying to get me to play for thier WEAK ASS program, I got Fix-It Utilities 7 Professional and PCTOOLS spyware doctor and they WORK and find infections Mcafee can't I also use the windows firewall and defender/security center.

  • if i was a computer manufacture i would put avast pre-installed on it.

  • No joke. I hate all that crap that gets piled into computers. It's almost sickening looking into a computer of someone that doesn't know what they are doing and haven't re-installed in years. I reformat for the same reason. About every 6 months like clockwork whether I think I need it or not.

  • I reinstall operating systems all the time just to get rid of all the extra crap. Most of the time it's not even a virus slowing down peoples computers. When ever you download a new program it asks you if you want to do an "express" install. The "express install, most the time, adds on TOOL BARS and other unnecessary stuff. I saw this guys laptop that had so many tool bars that he had a two inch view of his web page.

  • ... It's quicker to install a whole new operating system(Installing debian on my second box clocks in at just under 50 minutes) than it is to get online at first using some of those computers, ouch.
