  • I would assert the IMF is potentially incredibly credible and known for giving loans that are have crippling Mafia loan sharking interest rates. If money is printed and we really wanted to build a new global society then there would need to be a zero interest rate currency not without controls on its spending.

  • If you wish to understand what Adolf Hitler meant by "International Jew", take a look @ 26:03

  • ...zoginated

  • Only an idiot thinks DSK or Blair are socialists !!

  • As an American I see the IMF as a tool for western power.

  • NO!

  • The IMF may not force programs down anyone's throat, but its main backer and chief enabler, the US most certainly does. Just ask Latin America.

  • if you look at economic growth or economic activity in africa - 1945 to 1980 - it 's fairly healthy. you look at it after '80 when the imf arrives africa goes backwards'

look at somalia. look at what happened in ethiopia.

  • The IMF lend money. The IMF are a business i.e their goal is to maximize profits. If you lend a country money at interest it is more profitable that they take a long time to pay back and thus incur more interest. A good way to do this would to be impose policies which prevent the countries economy so that they are not able to clear the debt.

Any hope that the IMF will aim to help a country is contrary to both logic, the evidence and History.

No it doesn't make sense. You disliked a discussion that portrayed something you don't like in a negative light. That act would suggest that you like the IMF.
