May God give back to Austria, Germany and Russia an Emperor, and to France a King. This is the only redemption for Europe.

I think that people forget that a monarchy can be democratic. The point is that monarchy must reflect the times to a degree and above all the values of the people.The autocracy of the Russian Tsars failed because it was an outdated system and could not survive. The Age of Absolutism was over.
It is not a question of 'democracy or monarchy'. I say, introduce a constitutional monarchy. That would hopefully mean a better democracy than the 'republic' currently in place in Russia.

@wallentin76 Just remember; without Lenin, and had the Tsar remained in power, Russia would still be looking for the wheel, figuratively speaking. Sure, the soviet system had its downsides, but at least it brought progress to a medieval nation. You're welcome.

you know rasputin had great influence over the tsar, so I guess that was another reason why the revolution sparked up.

@supajasiu I believe its the tsar lack of leadership, irresponsability and GOD like feeling that allowed the revolution to happen.. the RUSSIANS loved their TSAR they just wanted reform and a little social justice thats all......
