My opinion is that this game is still the best car combat experience. twisted metal is good but it doesnt match up to car physics and secret moves and combos. second offense was ok but they went alittle overboard with the concept. the xbox arcade version is a terrible representation of what this game truely should be. to give you a good idea of how good i think this game is. when i first bought this game back in 98 or 99 i played this non-stop for 2 and a half years before i even considered buying another game. i still shove it in from time to time.

this was a good game, i was surprised there weren't anymore sequels after 2nd offense. i am sure there used to be hover mine weapons in this game.

look up V8 Arcade for xbox 360. it was technically a "sequel" but it was a terrible sequel.

I never palyed any of the twisted metal series because they never interested me. This game is still the the best game out there its a good thing I still play and have both games to this day with my Nintendo 64 working perfectly aswell.I am never going to give these games up EVER!!

I never liked twisted metal. I thought he would not reach the feet of vigilante 8 (1998 - 1999) but now with new games (Vigilante 8 Arcade - Twisted Metal Hands on!), If we compare the graphics and gameplay, Twisted Metal scampered unfortunately. :/

It was like something very epic ... a car game armed with special weapons and different and such ...

Worse was to modify the cars and the special 2nd offense and further modify the cars, weapons and special in 8 normal arcade.

But anyway, let's get this game in our hearts.
