The Midwestern quakes are far away from the edges of the nearest tectonic plates, just like the quakes that hit the Juan de Fuca plate 150 miles off the Oregon coast a short time ago. A short time after this video document was made, there were more unusual earthquakes in Reno, Nevada that are similar to the others this year. All in a short space!
