This, this is the story of a simple orphan named "Jon".

Or even Jonathan would do, 'cos it sounded a bit more grown up than just "Jon".
Bit more respectful. But anyway.
A forcefield came down from the sky and Jon - athan wondered if he would die
But on the other hand they might be friendly and have such advanced technology that he could live forever.
So it was swings and roundabouts really.
He just really, really, really hoped they didn't want to probe him.

So Jon flew up into the sky, pulled by the tractor beam
A single tear came to his eye as he saw the spaceship gleam
And it wasn't the moon, sure wasn't the moon. And it wasn't the moon, sure wasn't the moon. And it wasn't the moon, sure wasn't the moon
And it was beautiful!

He found himself inside the craft and he looked around in awe
It was chrome in a dome and it felt like home, there was carpet on the floor.
It wasn't his home, but it felt like home. It wasn't his home but it felt like home.
There was even a sofa.

Then a door with a swish well it opened wide and a figure stepped inside.
With a smile on his face and he looked the same race, it couldn't be denied
That he wasn't human, but he looked human. He wasnt human but he looked human.
Just not like any Jon had seen before.

Then the alien spoke.
He said: "Ah! There you are J792 /# Boop Boop Bah Doo
Don't you know we've been looking for you?
Oh son oh Jonathan it's true."

"Ya what?"

John looked into his father's eyes and his heart filled with surprise
"Your escape pod escaped from our fleet as we fleed to our new home in the skies
And we found a new world - salvation to behold - but it was so very cold without you, J792

Jon was a very normal boy but he wasn't any more
His clan had searched the universe, brought him what he'd been longing for...
... a loving star ship family.
