@infamousmonster clearly you know nothing about cars! The only reason it would have stalled is if the water went in the exhaust or got into the spark plugs, now the water couldn't go into the exhaust because it has a snorkel as do most deisel engines and 4wd so that they CAN drive through water! You fuckwit!
@wallzac13 how could that not be deliberate! hahah apparently there was a side route a few hundred metres up the road that wasnt flooded and could have easily been taken. very lucky guys.
@2004PontiacGTO The driver and crew all said that he didnt deliberately drive through the water. The 2.25 and 4.25 tankers dont have a great deal of power, if he had of stopped he would have stalled the truck and then they all would have been stuffed. wouldnt you think that if he had of known the the flood was 2 m deep he would have chosen another route? And i'm not new, CFA's beliefs and core values where being drummed in ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Are you a firie?
@infamousmonster get your facts straight dickhead.. the truck never stalled on the 12 hours they were out on call that day and the truck was repaired for minor interior water damage...stupid cunt
@wallzac13 Obviously your new to the CFA mate, the first thing comes first is the safety of your crew, going through that water was unesseary and reckless. It was a research tanker for christ sake, and he put 3 other men in danger. What would of happen if it turned out to be 13ft? The guys on the back fucking dead, you think you can swim in turnout gear and helmet, no you cant.
