I have to wonder how much of this is the fault of law enforcement, and how much is caused by the Gen-X and later hippies, who tend to be much more mouthy and angsty than original hippies.

I have heard the taunting on the video and also stories of past gatherings where main circle had a main road running right through the middle of it. We are getting sloppy. I think our elders need to educate our younger generation on proper etiquette.

On the other hand....If they are there then by all means let them do their jobs and move along and get the hell out of our church. I did hear taunting comments being directed at the officers and that, my brothers and sisters, is reactive.

You all have a flavor of truth in what you say. The LEO's should not be there. Our Federal government has a problem with us being a self-sufficient group who doesn't need their help. We don't need them at our family gatherings which, by the way, are held on our land. The land that we paid for with our taxes and, in a few case, our lives.

These guys are terrorfied! Cops are so idolic and into occult, they think these hippies are using some kind of voo doo!
Dude it's just hippies, put down your cocks...errr I mean guns!

By the way this is a team called the Incident Management Team. These are not local law enforcement officers. The local officers were very friendly and got along very well with the family.
I just dont want to see this Incident Management Team coming to our gatherings anymore. I dont mind the local law enforcement officers being there. At one point a local officer was even following the IMT telling them to calm down. (not in the video just at the gathering at a different time)

I think it would be unwise to physically try to stop the officers. As for gathering around to see whats happening. This may not be the most wise thing in the world but its just natural. People are curious so they came to see what all the commotion was. Not to mention there was some confusion about there being a fire.
If an officer makes an arrest, you dont expect them to open fire with pepper spray balls on the crowd watching. Nobody should ever have too, because it should never happen!

What law was broken? How was the constitution violated? Where's the documentation proving your "hold fire unless fired upon" policy?
as a rainbow sister myself, i have to agree with kkrava. was i out there? no. and im sad to say its stuff like this that makes me feel i cant ever return home to my family now that i'm a mother. not because they were in kid village where this all went down, but i didnt see anything violent happening until they were surrounded & harassed. this doesnt look like the family i knew. arrests have always happened at gatherings, its true. its unfortunate, but its how it is. i keep looking for the proof

do not leave, be teh change you wish to see in the world around you! Putting our heads in the sand doesn't help. I'll be there when the smoke clears that's for sure...
