I would like to do the same thing. I plan on buying a set of jeweler's loupe on eBay, with magnification powers of 10x, 20x, 30x, and 40x. Do you think it will work using those lenses to take some macro videos with the Vado HD 2nd gen?

Thank You so much for the tip. I love the ease of use and portability of my new vado, but I really hated the poor quality macro shots. This is a huge help. Now, if I can find out why my battery is not charging, I will be all set. Thanks!

Jewellers loupes have a very tight focal point but if you can hold it steady in front of the lens of your Vado it will work the same as any magnifying glass. Please post your results here!
