All right, I should explain these clips.

This is part two of a two volume set dedicated to an old lighting tech / friend of mine. Bobby Oakes. We worked together in the band Clockwork Orange. A very popular band in central / southern Illinois for several years.

Bobby O. was a Rock and Roll genius.

The tricks he employed in his light show were YEARS ahead of the time.

We had moving trusses and par can lights that changed color back in 1986! He made all of the components himself!

Thousands of people enjoyed what he brought to the table.

He will be missed.
=================================================
Composed in the spirt of the Cresent City / New Orleans.

My version of a First line/Second line style of composition.

This is volume 2- A rockin boogie. My second line feel.

Here is volume 1- http://youtube.com/watch?v=LU5OJS8nFKY

A slow blues. My first line feel.

Enjoy! AB

    Marshall=Metal

    Thats what you want!

    Let us know what you end up with.Good Luck.

    Andy

  • sorry i dont know bob but my deepest respects. Anyway you the amp so its a ceriatone expression? I would really like to hear some more metal sound samples as I know it can do all the lighter gain/overdriven stuff beautifully. Have you got MSN or something similar might make communication easier than youtube videos comments. Cheers

  • Hey Now!

    Thanks for listening. This amp won't do a metal rhythm well, but for single string solos...it would rock.

    I'm you tube or my space

  • I accidentally came across your comments about Bob on "The Gear Page." John Page said you had made a tribute to him on Youtube but didn't have the link. I found it by googling Bob's name. I was with him for 15+ years and we were married for over 6. Rock n Roll was his life and you are right about his being gifted. His demons got the best of him. So many cared about him and he just didn't see it. Thanks for the tribute. His loved ones will treasure it. Beth Oakes BTW he loved you guys!

  • Thanks again for the kind words-

  • Hey, great playing, as usual, Andy. Just wondering if those logo plates come off the front. Ceriatone seems like a great company, I think I'd just prefer the simple, blank look Trainwrecks usually have if I got one. Thanks!

  • Many thanks andy for subscribing to my channel, this is all new to me and hopefully i will get better, i really enjoy watching great guitarists like yourself who achieve such wonderful tones and expression from their playing. I shall be taking a look at your vids over the next few days. Once again thank you for your thoughtfulness, all the best with your career mate.

  • well at the moment the orange rockverb 50 is looking the strong favourite

  • I am so sorry over the loss of your stepdad.

    He was a great guy! Thats why I felt I had to do this.

    Thank you very much.

  • Bob is my stepdad. I am heartbroken over his death. Thank you so much for caring about him. He was a good man who was kept prisoner by his demons. Be at peace, Bob! ~Jillanna
