I can't find the article the Discover report references.
Anyways... I've had a normal grade school education on the topic and I have never heard any "glorification" of the sperm.
Jokes I've heard ofcoz, but never anything in the ways of education.

What what?? sperm fighting? sounds just like bad science to me, and I have never heard of it. Are you sure YOU are not adding content here? (just a question).
The only point I, from own experience, can lend credence to is discovery who "dramatize" their content to some programs.

We live in an era when the average female university population is around 60 per cent.
Forget, feminism. With numbers like that, I expect that bias will be less of a problem in University 20 years from now.
