what is the adjustment for? what does it do? do all normal scooters need adjustment?

How often do we need to do that valve clearance adjustment?

I took my scooter to a local store and they told me the valve cover is leaking oil-would I do the same thing in the video but instead just check/replace the gasket under that cover? Or is it somewhere else?

1 question anly :] ammm when you open the cover, is there any oil in it ? because normaly there is 1 liter of oil in the engine, wount it come out when you open it, must you drain the oil before opening the cover ?

@Guitarnoob99 There`s no oil in it, because if there would your belt would be slippery all the time when you try to accelerate :)

where did you buy your calipers? what are they called? " valve adjust calipers?" i was trying to find it on ebay but couldn't :(
