  • Nice!!! I have dredge too. Mine is a 3in. Keene highbanker dredge combo. Question for many of your viewers and yourself. What kind of recovery do you get in fine gold department with miners moss through out your boxes with a 12in by 48in. box.. I notice your running miners moss. Me too. You have a very nice setup. Only problem I have is nothing about mine floats. May your pan be very yellow. I be dredging in Arizona!!!

  • @bradmoore8 thaxX and I hope it will catch loots of -100 but to bee honest its not tested yet =) may you're box bee yellow!

  • you will get gold with that.... just remember to only use the power you need. , run no more than 15 percent material to water at a time for best results. you probably could process 1-3 cubic meters an hour with that. how much did it cost to build? i paid $4000 us dollars for my 5 inch dredge.

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 I think it has costed around 700-800$ + allot of thinking/testing figuring every thing out =)

  • you have a huge motor on a that. you really dont need that much power on such a small sluice box. you could get buy with half of the power....and your fine gold is washed out with that much power.... i suggest lengthening and flaring your sluice out a bit. you are not going to get as much fine gold with that as you would with a flared sluice. when you get some money together. i would upgrade your sluice box

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2

( I have absolutely no experience in dredging what so ever = )

but I am looking forward to get some,

so I know what I am talking abut hi hi hi.....

Anyway the gold concentration around here is low =(

so I don't take it to serious but its fun and good therapy!

And if I get some $ I would just order my stuff..... it would be a lot easier.

I like your good constructive critic so thanks and

happy shooting may the rounds be with you...

    Tanks again!

  • Can that suck out crack rocks that might be in my carpet?

  • Are you using a smaller high flow line to create a venturi effect in order to create a daft for the dredging hose?

Is the smaller blue tube for sucking out crevices?

    Thanks!

  • @bradmoore8 I had the same dredge. A Keene highbanker combo. I only used the highbanker once. After having the dredge a year I noticed I was losing huge amounts of good smaller gravel and gold ,piggybacking out the grizzly on larger rocks. I removed the highbanker completely and replaced It with a crash box. Problem solved. I want all material going over riffles. That was my first dredge. You live and learn. Just passing on the Info.

  • Fint bygge,håller skälv på att bygga en 4" men det verkar som Keene har tagit semester eller inte vill sälja, har mailat dom i en månad utan svar, hur beställde du pumpen?

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 small but the air bank will add some flotation =)

and a quick release for the engine (so i can use it for my high-banker) + 1000 other idea`s?

maby for next year or maby not?

And flare out the sluice and make it longer is a really good idea!

the reason i did not do that was the trunk/miners moss size =)

but i hope reasonable feeding, lower rpm and

let the sluice a little below the waterline would help keep those -100?

    anyway what do I know?

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2

got a good engine from an out-burned AC generator and modified the crankshaft to fit the pump,

stripped away all the 1 1/2" shit and made the new sluice, power-jet, flare and so on....

I hope it will still fit in the trunk of my car.

And yes I know the engine/pump are a bit over kill,

but its nice to have some power to move the overburden

and if my health gets better I maby I make a water driven low pressure air-system, fit 12V generator

yes ( the floats are to

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2

so I started out building just that, because I had some 25 feet of hose in that size.

I did the floats, engine base, sluice, flare, power jet.....well almost everything =S

Then my friend said that hi was going to order a 2 -2 1/2" dredge,.......WTF!!!!!

So I sold my fisher detector and ordered a real dredge pump with fotvalve from Keene eng

    and 23 feet of 2 1/2" suction-hose from a local dealer,

  • @LUVMAGNUMGUNS2 Thanks! And yes it sucks! maby more than the dredge it self ;)

    I will switch song ( I had You-tube to select song =)

"And now a little about why it ended up like that."

At first it was suppose to be a 1 1/2" power-jet dredge built from crap

powered by a 2,5hp 52GPM with 82 feet of maximum head lift pump

and it was meant to fit in the trunk of my Skoda!

  • Thanks and Yes I will switch song when I get to a pc :-D

  • but i think you did a very good job all in all congrats

  • cool footage , gay song

  • @rblood50 Yes i will post a video later when spring arrive......=)

  • @theoriginaldanidor Thanks well I hope to see something in the bluebowl maby ;) thanx for showing us here up in Scandinavia how its done =) good luck take care!

  • Nice job, well done. Good luck with it. Hope your box will always be yellow. Greetings from downunder ¸..*´¯)

  • @mowerdog ThanX I which I did =)

  • cant wait for your next video showing it working, Thanks

  • @sajones22079

Thanks and yes I made it from stainless steel pipes

  • nice looking machine man.
