The duet on YouTube with Ah Kyung-Lee, seems to have more warmth, and is a more enjoyable performance because of that.
Perfect as always though, Sumi Jo.

I think that Anna Netrebko and Elina Garanča made it best, of course of what I had a chance to listen to

I cannot agree more: the duet with Ah-Kyung Lee is much better! And I dislike the music read from the book, it is very disturbing!

Two lovely voices. nautilus1972 you may be a bit harsh with your Asian comment. I prefer to think that while keydet72 is closer to the mark lwt2008 is right on the money.
Sumi Jo sings brilliantly with a male such as Dmtri Hvorostovsky. Graham Melb Aus
I feel that Borodina was outsinging her component. I do not remember this song being this out of portion in regard to lack of balance. Mostly due to oversinging. Also, did she not have time to memorize the piece. It looked somewhat awkward that she had her music in from of her the entire time. Poor performance due to lack of harmony and do to "out doing" your component.

Borodina is lovely and has an impressively powerful voice; however, for this duet, I much prefer the performance with Sumi Jo and Ah-Kyung Lee. Their voices are simply much better balanced.
