Meet the man who has come to personify some of Indias most ardent right wing moments; the demolition of the Babri Masjid, the rise of Hindutva in mainstream politics, and the clear breakdown of Secular Nationalism vs. the Hindu-nationalism. LK Advani, former Deputy Prime Minister of India, leader of the opposition and chief of the Bharatiya Janata party, or as it is commonly known as the BJP, faces off with Wajahat S. Khan in the 29th episode of TalkBack.
@HumKisiSeNahiDarte my friend, Pakistan is an Islamic Republic. The basis of Pak is that Hindu and Muslims cannot live together in harmony. India is secular and we believe that both can coexist in peace. People like Advani, RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal etc are proving Pakistan's point by such fundamentalism. Even though he says that religion is not politics, BJP used the Ayodhya issue for election campaign. Advani has left a scar on the clean face of Indian secularism.

@dxnification Well said buddy!! But I liked his statement. Religion is not in politics, its an individual's faith. Re legion as always been a pakistani propoganda, since they have nothing else to debate upon!!

Mr. Advani- do not claim to be a representative of Hindu faith and Hindu people. I am a working class Hindu and I don't care whether there is a Masjid or a Mandir in Ayodhya. I just care that I can earn enough to feed my family and that my Muslim neighbor remains my friend and that friendship is not broken because of your fundamentalism which is not shared by most of India. I am ashamed to see incompetent fundamentalists like you in Indian politics,

@priyamjeetable Whereas in Hinduism only Kshatriyas (not more than 10-15% of total population) were ordained to fight for their country.. a large part of population (atleast 50-60%) were relegated to cleaning toilets of upper caste or serve as labourers.. around 5-10 were busy in Pooja-Path as preists

@priyamjeetable Bro.. you say that defeat of hindus was lack of co-ordination.. Most historians and Hindus who are reading the history of that time just like a story would fail to look at a very deep root-cause.. The root cause was the Caste-system of hindu society.. How?.. Well, if you look at invaders from central and middle east, they were united in Mujahid zeal, and every able bodied male in these societies faught for the cause of their faith/religion...

@Rohit84up And, Gaandu gay Rohit, come to delhi/Punjab.. you can find many handsom fair complexion hindu/sikhs whose ancestors refused to convert to Islam.. my ancestory itself is from Kashmir, and have known friends in Delhi whose ancestors were from Peshawar regions, and they are fairer, larger height and built than that of you average Marathis/Biharis..

@Rohit84up Gaandu gay... if you have an iota of knowledge of history of Indian subcontinent (esp. North West India and areas uptil Khorosan, Kashgarh, Hazara, etc.), you would have been aware that most of the areas uptil the banks of Kabul river were Hindu majority areas (merging with Buddhists of Bamiyan and Zoroastrians of Persia) till the late 9-10 th century A.D) and have either Hindu or Zoroastrian ancestory.. Saala racist inferiority complex ridden low-life UP/Bihari/Marathi bhaiya

@shariq7797 After panipat where the Marathas stopped, the bearded and turbaned Sikhs took over and they carried the saffron flag of India into Afghanistan and planted it at Kabul in the year 1820. A city which the Hindus had lost in the year 980 when Sabuktgin had defeated Jayapal Shahiya, the last Hindu king of Kabul(then called Kubha).
