@cwf1701 This promo was actually made by Frank Gari... He is the mastermind behind the "Stand Up..." and the "Turn to..." campaigns. The majority of these were on ABC stations, but there are some NBC & FOX stations in there as well... search "WKYC/Turn to 3" and "KCBA 35 Turn To"... those are NBC and FOX, respectively.

This is just a PR campaign for Alabama. I am sure there are some places that are nice. I am also sure they have their share of dumpy areas like everyplace else.

Well it was definitely a PR campaign for Alabama. They really sogarcoated it. There was a similar song jingle campaign titled, "Western Massachusetts is Great!" It isn't but hey they needed a PR campaign, too. All commercialized PR!
