Sorry, no. He's a very good lyricist, don't get me wrong, but he isn't on the same level as Cohen by a long way (who is undoubtedly in my opinion the most literate man to ever enter music) or Lou Reed (again, underrated in my opinion. Go listen to Berlin!). And I'm not a Doors fan, but I can appreciate how good Morrison's writing was.
