This video is compiled and created as an expression of support and solidarity with the 3 brave TYC executives who are sitting on Indefinite Hunger striker since April 25th 2011.
They demand:
"We demand immediate withdrawal of so called "Patriotic re-education" campaign and Chinese troops from Kirti Monastery and to unconditionally release all political prisoners including all those arrested recently from Ngaba."
"We demand access for Tibetan Youth Congress delegation to assess the situation of political prisoners inside Tibet."
"We appeal world governments and non-governmental organizations to recognize and support the historical status of Tibet and struggle as an Independent nation."

TYC Indefinite Hunger Strike

To protest the ongoing lockdown of Kirti Monastery and brutal crackdown on people of Ngaba, Tibet including monks, Tibetan Youth Congress today launched an Indefinite Hunger Strike at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
This fast is participated by three executive members of Tibetan Youth Congress - Dhondup Lhadar (Vice President), Tenzin Norsang (Joint Secretary) and Konchok Yangphel (Finance Secretary).
Tsewang Rigzin, President of the Tibetan Youth Congress said at the start of the hunger strike that, "the continuing siege of Kirti Monastery, kidnapping of over 300 monks and killing of three elderly Tibetan by Chinese armyrecently is clear violation of human rights of the Tibetan people urged the international community to support the Tibetan people". He further added, "the critical situation in Ngaba, Tibet needs to addressed by the UN and also in the China-US annual human rights meeting this week"
