...it's a mashup medley of popular songs (from anime, games, etc) created for the Japanese video sharing site "Nico Nico Douga" ("Smiley Videos"). A good deal of the incredibly epic anime-related parodies and flash animations that you've seen probably originate from Nico Nico.


Now, THIS... is a complete parody of that 10-minute medley, retaining all the original tunes and playing upon the themes of each original song in order to rework the lyrics into a crazy tribute to all the special moments throughout the beautiful "Ranch Story" that is the Harvest Moon series of video games. I know it's long (it has to be!), but PLEASE try to watch it all the way through... I spent about four weeks poring over this project; a great deal of that time was dedicated to writing and revising those lyrics, and I promise you'll find something about your favorite game (and if it's inaccurate, please tell me, because I actually haven't played ALL the HMs, rather basing a lot of the stuff on random research from Ushi No Tane and online game guides...).

Yeah, all the background music is straight from the original Kumikyoku; I didn't create it. ^^; The tune at each part is from the song listed in the upper left corner.
