Am I Good? (Mr. Brightside) [[Better Lighting and Playing]]

This is me playing Mr. Brightside by The Killers. I've been playing for approximately 6 weeks. I learned this main intro riff in about 10 minutes. I just want to know if I'm good, or not. My dad's girlfriend thinks I'm not that great, but i think I'm pretty good. By the way, I have a little music in my history. One of my ancestors (My great great grandfather i believe) was Sandor Vegh (wikipedia him). My great grandpa (William "Bill" Vegh) made a triple neck steel guitar which is now in the Smithsonian Museum of Music. I can play (well and fluently) the guitar, piano, trumpet, and drums. Dude don't listen to what people say if ur good or bad, do what you want to do and don't care what others say. Iv been playing drums for 7 months and believe me when I was at 6 weeks I was where you were at too. Just keep practicing man you'll get the hang of it in no time. Remember that if you wanna play n instrument you gotta make it your first priority nd practice every day n never give ip. You don't wanna kno how much people iv seen give up on guitar and drums because they couldn't play som

man you barely have those notes pressed down. You're getting more harmonics and feed back than notes.

Answer to your question, no youre not good. But after a couple years of practice you could change that.

But yea it pretty much sounds like you've only been playing a caouple weeks like you mentioned. I don't see any special skill that makes me think you're better than the average 6-week guitar player

Again a A+ for effort. Practice a little more and then I will give a thumbs up or down. The lighting was better at the start of the video, but got bad again when you were talking in front of the camera. Keep working on it though! Eric
