Kingdom Hearts Final Mix: Darkside #1 (Proud)

Well, I've had FM sitting on my shelf for about 2 months now, so I figured I'd play through it.

This guy's just as easy as before.

Anyways, I picked the Sword and dropped the Staff (the newb's choice in the original). In the original version, I never would've picked the Sword (poor stats besides Str and worst early moveset by far), but with all the new abilities and the changes in the order you learn them, the Sword looks a lot more appealing this time around.

You made a good choice. The Shield is the best one (doesn't really matter which one you drop with it), at least on Expert, thanks to its high defense and early abilities (e.g. Guard, Second Chance).

However, it seems new players tend to pick the Sword and drop the Staff. Some poor bastards even pick the Sword and drop the Shield, which is the worst combo (the Sword has the worst set of abilities early on, and dropping the Shield results in a horrid defense stat).

when i was young I used to drop the Shield and get the Sword, that came into play when I was getting raped by Rikunort, I thought that the best defense was a good offense, I still lost chunks of health.

Now, I recently played throughKH1, picked Sword, dropped Staff (noobish as you say), got the good sideof strenght and the defense wasn't a problem, but I'd like to do a run with the Shield one of these days.

I remember when I fought this boss in the dream and I was like, "This is where I wake up right?" The it actually started and I was then, "Holy crap I actually have to fight this thing?!" Such an awesome experience at the start of the game.
