After this tutorial I will make one for panels and exporting your pages, since it's all related (you specify the basic frame in order to make your panels later).

It's not done yet (x_x) I said "part 1" because there is a lot to say about tones in MangaStudio, but I don't know when I'll make the next tutorial for that. My next tutorial will probably be part 2 for rulers (perspective ones).

If I want to print my book, should the starting page be on the left like it showed in your video?

Will it automatically be my cover page as well?

When you get a book printed, cover and back cover are usually submitted to the printing company on a different file than the inside pages. If the starting page is on the left, it means your book reads from right to left (that would be the very first page when you open the book). If your book reads from left to right, then the first page should be on the right, and you should choose the binding/glue to be on the left.

The English patch is user-made, it's not official (nor legal, but that's another story). I don't have my IllustStudio in English, so I wouldn't be able to make a useful tutorial for most people, since they'd see all my options in Japanese.
