I am very familiar with this hymn, but I have never heard it sung with this melody. I am from Indiana and Illinois, and the melody we use is much different, and in my opinion, a very beautiful one - I like to lead this whenever I can.
I assume these young folks are probably from Ohio (?), and they have adapted a different tune to this same song.

incredible, it has been over 20 years since I have sung these hymns and it touches my soul... Makes me long to be in touch with my people.
