Ah, the world-famous Gaspanic club! As with most places we encountered in Tōkyō, there are many different establishments in each building. Gaspanic is on the 3rd and 4th floors of this building, with the cloakroom up on the 5th. This means you get in via a lift in a pokey little side entrance. This was the second time we entered the bar, at about half past midnight. We went in earlier - about 10pm - and I wish I'd been videoing then. The place was rather emptier (perhaps half the number of people you see here) and we were met with cheers from at least three of the staff who rushed over to take our drinks orders. A little over-whelming perhaps, but I'm convinced it was more out of enthusiasm than desperation.
Wow. Memories.
Now I am stuck in a 9-5 corporate job with no life whatsoever. Thank God I took 4 year of my life and had fun in Japan.

That's ironic - I had to get the 9-5 corporate job before I could afford to travel to make this video. ;-)
I recently asked for (and got) an annual leave rise instead of a pay rise - 35 days off a year now. Less money, but more life. Think about it. No one ever lay on their deathbed and said "I wish I'd spent more time in the office."
Work to live, don't live to work. :-)
