Driving on the M8 in Glasgow Scotland on a Sunday afternoon.. It's rare to see sunny skies over Glasgow in October !
Heading home to to the afternoon milking.
On the radio Wisconsin dairy farmers talk about their dislike for massive mega dairy farms (5000+ cows)
A 8,1000 cow dairy is planned for Southern England which if it gets planning permission will be the biggest dairy farm in Europe

Good film as usual,M8 i have driven 100s of times,m77 must be new.Biggest dairy in canada 5 miles from me they milk approx 3500,biggest and most expensive problem is getting rid of slurry.

Wisconsin, neighboring state. We milk about 210 and I feel like we're getting run over. We lost about 70% of our dairies in our area since I started here 24 years ago. Problem here is nobody wants to work long hours every day so the small ones disappear.

it has its ups and its downs but im more agaisnt it as it will put us small farmers (200 or less cows) out of business.
