  • Hey again, how did your esc/bec handel 6 servos? I am running a 25amp esc and in testing she spazed right out when when I hocked up the 6th servo. Will I need a Ubec? Many thanks, Goob.

  • @FlyingGoober Im running a SportBEC Switch-mode BEC 5.0V / 6.0V $29 from Graysonhobby, no more problem w/ over draw of my battery. Battery safe protection. A must have if you are running lots of servos.

  • Hey there, I am thinking of putting flaps on my p51, did you have to strengthen the main wing as you cut say 1/5th into it, or have you found the wing stong enough.

    cheers

  • @FlyingGoober They're pretty strong. I dont have to do anything else to them. Although it wouldn't be a bad idea. I also consider just adding flaps w/o cutting them, like a duck bill kinda flips found in some WWII planes.

  • those gear's looked tough in your video. nice work. would like to see how and where you installed them. you bounced like 5 feet in the air and it looked like the plane did not mind at all.

  • Cheers, I think I'll go ahead with them now, thanks.

  • what do u need to make flapsi am guess 2 SV80 Long Lead 3-wire servo and a Y harness and Flaps kit by parkzone or did u use the Pushrods with Clevis: P-51D Mustang BL by ParkZone can u make a video on how u did it!

  • i have to be true. i got a messerschmitt Bf-109G from parkzone. i havent flown her yet. shit weather

  • Retract is my next step. I just couldn't find a good one. I want it to be strong, light and cheap. Perfect combination!

  • You could do it in theory. Just link the retract servo w/ your flaps servo. Only problem is you have little control of the min and max of your gear. I have a 5e also, should have spend a bit more to get the 6e. I'm sure it will work but it might take some time to fine tune.
