  • Underrated but an overall GREAT SONG!

  • @pinkandjefflynne lead singer Brent is a worship leader at a church in Sacramento. Larry (bass) plays in a worship band at Metro Calvary in Roseville, CA. Mike Urbano (drums) played with Smashmouth. Lyle Workman (guitar) does movie scores, Scott Moon (keyboards) is a session musician in Los Angeles.

  • I wore out my casette of this song driving up to my work site in N Manitoba in the 80s, may have had a few beer on the way there and a tear in my eye :)

  • one of the greatest songs of all time. Best one-hit-wonders of the 80's!

  • Damn. I totally forgot about this song. Cool.

  • back in my teen angst days I wrote these guys a letter...and I actually got a hand written letter back from Brent...still have it...very cool..the ONLY time a band member had written me back personally...very very cool...

  • I really like this song.

  • A beautiful song and video that have stood the test of time.

  • Yup, Larry is a HS teacher working at McClatchy HS, teaching all the youngsters English. He's a great guy, too. Humble, and just one heckuva a bass player. If you ever want to come say hi to him, he plays on Sundays at Metro Calvary in Roseville, CA. Services are at 9:00 and 11:15.

  • @JosephJGomez Larry is a teacher at my old HS here in Sacramento. :)

  • my current english teacher, Mr. Tagg, was the bass player

  • @grapej512 It is a good song. I had forgotten about it from back in the day but had discovered it by accident thanks to youtube and remembered it. I think there was a glut of music at this time and many artists were fighting for airplay on radio and video music channels.
