(It's my first experience to make videos, so it can be not very good. The ending is cut, and I don't know how to fix it, but my idea was simply to introduce the work, so it's enough I think :))

"Palestrina" of the German composer Hans Pfitzner (1869-1949) is one of my favorite music works, and I think that it should be more famous than it is now. It is a musical legend based on the life of great Italian composer Giovanni Pierluigi Palestrina. In this scene his pupils Silla and Ighino discuss about the essence of art and the role of the artist.

Silla - Brigitte Fassbaender
Ighino - Helen Donath
