We are delighted that Desmond Tutu (who, with his wife Leah, is Afri's international patron), recently sent this inspiring and supportive message to Afri. Desmond Tutu first visited Ireland at Afri's invitation in 1984, returned in 1991 to lead the Famine Walk, and was also the guest speaker at an event to mark Afri's 30th anniversary in 2005.
