Idea: your thoughts please!?

K, here is more info...

I've done everything from budgeting to creating itineraries. So here they are.

European Trip:
10 Days. Amsterdam and Prague.
$10,000

American Prostitution:
7 days: 3 Large American Cities
$7,500

American Strippers:
6 days: 3 Large American Cities
$6,000

What I've decided to look for is one of two things:
a) My viewers sponsoring the trip of their choosing. Depending on how much we raise (I would certainly put some of my own money toward it) is which project I would do. If not enough money is raised for any of them, it's up to each donator whether they want their money returned.

b) A private sponsor to put up the money for the project of THEIR choosing. But they would have no creative license... the making of the film would be entirely up to me. In return for putting up the money I would offer 20% of all revenue made from the film. This would include revenue made on youtube, other film hosting sites, and any eventual sale of the film to a film company.

c) A company to sponsor the video in exchange for a 10 second ad at the beginning of the film and a 15-30 second ad at the end. Again, these would be about 6 separate films in the series equalling up to 4 minutes of ad space and an approximate of 10 million view.

How many are free for viewing on the internet? How many have been made by a youtuber, or your average, NON-filmmaker? How many ask atypical questions of the subjects? And, quite simply, how many have been done by me?

There are probably hundreds of thousands of books on Sci-Fi, but it doesn't mean no one else can write a new one and bring something new to the table? Just because it's been done doesn't mean it can't be done again, done better, done DIFFERENTLY.

It was a proposal, seeing how people felt about it, I did NOT ask for the money, but am gauging whether people WANT to be a part of the funding. If they WANT to be THE PRODUCERS of it. I have set up no place where such donations can occur, have asked nothing about it.... just people's thoughts.

So your thought is, 'stop asking me for money', and I accept that thought. But it is only one of the many I have received and many people WANT to be a part of it, so far.

Can you point me in the right way or perhaps you forgot the name of the episode, as I could not find any video even approaching the changing "sex capitals." To make a long story short: engaging a foreign reporter for free just for the sake of this project ? (I mean, you don't to all this here for money either, so I see no problem in this solution) ...

Don't worry - a LOT of people are fascinated by this topic, for reasons other than the obvious (you said SEX! Weee!).

I would personally be most interested in the European option. It would offer the chance to include more of your own reaction to Europe - I think an American reaction to Amsterdam and Prague (and from a psychologist-in-training, not a reporter/film-maker) would be REALLY interesting and different. I'd keep it to Amsterdam and Prague - you're going to have a TON of material there.

All three are interesting, but I had to choose I'd do European trip.

Talking about money, I'm afraid I don't really believe you can get much money from us viewers.

I'd tried to convince companies, after all, it'd be advertising in places they never been.

Just plain and simple marketting.

If you did the illegal prostitutes in America one thing I'd look forward being included in the video is the escorts view on massages vs actual sex with clients and charging 300-1000 dollars just for a nude massage and hand job. I listen to sirius radio and some of the shows like The Jason Ellis Show and Howard Stern type shows that have had customers call in about it but i've never seen anything from the girls view and reasoning.
