I've almost finished reading each beloved (to me, any way) one of them. Is it just me having senior moments or is "Hunter's Moon" missing from kindle? And, no thanks, Dana, I'm not ready to get over Jack's death if I can't even read about it!

Ms, Stabenow, I work with your cousin John in Oklahoma. He turned me toward your novels. I lived in Bethel for 7 years and have a brother and sister still living there now, I worked for Wein Air Alaska for 10 years in Bethel, Aniak, Anchorage, and Prudhoe Bay. Your books are a treat for me because they are soo real and accurate of life in the Bush. Thanks for taking me back to the great land of the north. It makes me yearn for a simplier, and more quieter lifestyle.

Awesome. I can point this at people who want to understand why Stabenow is my Favoritest Author on the Planet. I love the Shugak books, I've reread them a million times. A this point I think I know the first one I ever read (Cold Blooded Business) half by heart.
