that is an extraction system.... stops the appliance bay/room filling with fumes.... it releases automatically when the appliance moves off

an asthma tast where you are sat in aroom filled with smoke, and lots of fitnes tests.... i want to become a fireman too but i have swine flu so i cant train to become one for quite a while

Nope, you are incorrect... Trust me, it is an exhaust extraction system. There is a charging lead which is connected beside the drivers seat but the yellow ducting is for fume extraction.

at some point in that clip when the fire appliance was leaving the station there was a yellow hose wich appered to be connected to the appliance was that a water hose ??

no, it is an extraction system for the vehicle exhaust to stop the bay filling with fumes. It releases automatically as the vehicle moves off.
