a refining fire from Malachi 3. But isn't God supposed to be refining us in every season of our lives. Revival or refinement never ends, it only begins. But refinement has become a golden cow in our society. We're looking for the next big thing for God to do. We're looking to feel God in a brand new way. Hasn't He done enough? He sacrificed His only begotten Son, for our sakes. Our sinful, wicked, nasty sakes. Isaiah said it pleased God to crush His Son. Isn't that enough???

It seems we tend to seek revival more than we seek God. We're always trying to get a revival or spark a revival or figure out how to spark a revival. AND IT'S TICKING ME OFF!!!
Seek God, be willing to take whatever He gives, do whatever He asks. Who care's if you even get revival or not. Revival is a post-biblical concept based on the idea of individuals in a corporate group having individual spiritual experiences. The closest thing we can find in the Bible to revival is how God is
