How long have you been deaf? I keep seeing all of these activation videos, but they never give a back-story of the person. I'm assuming you weren't born deaf because your speech skills are so good. I love seeing people's reaction to hearing for the first time in a long time, and also people's interpretation of what a CI sounds like. I'd love to know more about your background and social experiences (both hearing and deaf)!

Oh Lord! I cried! My son was diagnosed as profoundly deaf three weeks ago and we are considering to get the implants... I think that is the best thing we can do for him... thank you for sharing!
