BCCC MI-BEST Completion Ceremony

Check out this video from Friday, Aug. 18 of students in the Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) Maryland Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (MI-BEST) program, who gained professional certification as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs). All got their credentials in as little as 9-11 weeks, some while completing their high school GEDs!

BCCC is part of a consortium of five Maryland community colleges dedicated to speeding up the time it takes for Adult Basic Education and English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) students to advance to college-level occupational programs, complete valuable credentials in the job market and move into high-demand careers -- without the time and expense typically required to develop workplace skills.
