Can't learn Tamazigh from your parents? Can you even write Tifinagh? Even know what it is? I have been to Africa and been around people you call "North African mediterraneans". You are a joke. There are movements to fight against arab/europhile people like you on the mainland and it's easy to see why. You are basically a foreigner that can barely speak the language. @lionzion22 You don't live in the Canary Islands, nor North Africa. You don't know what the people do. I am genetically Berber as well as genetically Spanish. I can speak Spanish, English and Tamazight. For your information Tamazight is being taught in schools in the Canary Islands to revive the language. You don't know what you are talking about. Canary Islanders are Berber and Spanish. You can be both you know. I have North African ancestry as well as Southern European.

Yet you call me an "afrocentric" when I said the Canary islands are the property of Spain, but you tell someone else simply your parents are "Spaniards" , and the Canary Islands are of Spain when it suits you. Confused Europhile.

Just as I said, you are european. You prove my point that Guanches no longer exist as a seperate ethnicity anymore. No "Berber" on the mainland will speak like you do, nor call themself a "berber" or Spaniard either.  Remember that.

@lionzion22 What part of this debate is over you don't understand. We are butting heads too much. It's not progressive. Also, if you must know. I am Spanish, but I am Berber at the same time. I am part Spanish, part Berber like all Canary Islanders. The Canary Islands is politically part of Spain, but geographically part of North Africa. We have both Spanish and Berber ancestries. So yes, my parents are Spanish, and yes, my parents are Berber. So there you have it. I am Spanish and Berber mixed.

You say the Canary Islands are of Spain to one person. Then you tell me it's just North Africa. Spain is not North Africa. It can't be both. Which is it? You say your parents are Spaniards, now you say you are part "Berber" and part Spanish. If your parents are Spaniards, then you cannot be "Berber".

You are either confused or a liar trrying to play both sides of the fence when it suits you.

@lionzion22 I am not a liar, therefore, I will tell you the truth. I am part Spanish and part Berber. That is the facts. I am both. I have the DNA of both Europe and Africa. I am not confused. I am not a full Berber, nor am I a full Spaniard. I am somewhere in the middle. But that does not discredit me from being Berber or Spanish.
