"When Dressage suits your needs but a Stetson suits your lifestyle." ebh

" The Dressage is my discipline and the Cowboy is my Freedom" ebh

Famed horseman and clinician, Eitan Beth-Halachmy, well known and respected for his unique style of horsemanship shares his Cowboy Dressage on video. Eitan is a popular horseman here in the U.S. and abroad. Just a "little bit different" Eitan has long combined the discipline of classical dressage and western riding to create what he has coined as Cowboy Dressage. It is not all dressage, not is it all western. It is a combination of both resulting in an "artful" and "sincere" partnership with the horse.

  • Do they put in as a part of the test the spanish walk? I applaud the way you've taken the moves appropriate for the way western horses move and putting the excitement of some traditional western movements in with showing the importance of self carraige and real connection on the bridle with a western bit that is not a "peanut roller collection".

  • It's the difference between playing a violin or a fiddle

  • i want that trot

  • How awesome! So beautiful to watch.

  • This is absolutly gorgeous to watch. I feel that it shows wonderful athleticism and a beautiful combination of a 'typically" english discipline done in western. Wonderful !!

  • @29Treasures Where and how? I'm in SW Louisiana...I'm ... interested, but I need more info.

  • I wasn't sure how such a heavy boned horse like a Morgan would be able to perform the standard dressage moves. This horse made up for what he could not do by doing what he could better than any horse I have ever seen, and throwing in a few moves that I have never seen in dressage. Those high steps? Are you KIDDING ME? Incredible! And the spin on one leg? No warm blood could safely do that...it takes a Morgan's high density bone structure to pull that off. Just beautiful!

  • Very Beautiful and brilliant! The control was amazing. It was absolutely exquisite. :) How anybody could not like that, is beyond me.

  • Brilliant!

  • Do you want to try Western Dressage?

Soon there will be clinics and competitions nationwide.
