@theviking711 I wasn't singling you out, expecting you to pay for EVERYONE. I was simply commenting on your remark that people CHOSE to die by not going to the relief centers. And that all they had to do was supply their own supplies. There were people before katrina that couldn't afford to make a toll free phone call. My family and I sent over 30 cargo boxes full of clothing and supplies directly to katrina victims. We bypassed Fema because they are ineffective. Give all that isn't necessity.

@Caveman0713 . You know nothing about me. I am a senior citizen, widowed and survive on soc sec & a part time job in a gas station. I had 15 evacuees in my small home for months after Katrina. I still have one who is disabled. One must make their own choices and be prepared to live with the results. I choose to work & provide for my needs. I am forced to pay for others by higher taxes, fees on my phone so they can have free phones, etc. How much more do you expect me to give?
