  • how far do u have to put menstrual cups in to urself because it hurts me but im scared if i put it in to far i wont get it back out, any help

  • @Butterfly79797 -- Its different for everyone. If your cervix is low, you will know, because you won't be able to put it in very far. It will sit very low in the vagina, and you will need to trim the stem for comfort. If your cervix is high, you will know because the cup will naturally sit a bit higher. If it hurts to insert, try wetting the cup and the vaginal skin with water or water-based vaginal lube (don't use oil, its bad for the vagina's ph levels and can cause infections).

  • @Butterfly79797 -- Also, remember to always insert into the vagina, aiming back back toward the rectum or tail bone. Never aim straight up, our vaginas naturally slant back. Also try different folds, some work better than others. Click on my screen name, Menstrualcupinfo, I have a folding video on my channel.

  • Is it a firm cup? Which cup is the easiest to pop open once inside?

  • @tombstoner79 -- small yuuki feels a little firmer than large. Large is pretty soft. I think the easiest to pop open is the stiff cups. Keeper is the stiffest, then medium meluna, then both Fleucups and large Lunette equally.

  • I'm stuck between getting this and the new small or medium MeLuna or the smaller Ladycup ... which are better for beginners and also for heavier flows (my first days are crazy).

  • @MSEBONYSEDC -- I would have to say on all 3 points, Yuuki would probably make it a lot easier.

  • just switched from diva to yuuki , i have to say it's tougher to fold and get in but once it's in it pops right open every time really liking the change

  • @MenstrualCupInfo thankyou both parts of advice helped me out lots

  • My sister who is very well learned in Japanese told me this about the Yuuki cups name

Its Japanese for lucky, blessed and its a boys name.pronounced you-key

  • thankyou, ill try your advise on my next cycle

  • I got the Yuuki small just after my cylce ended but no biggie....it feels so nice and just a smidgen softer than my medium new MeLuna it looks comfortable....i'll try it out when my next one comes lol but it'll be another 88 to 89 days because I just started this birth control called Jolessa.
