I met Ramon in 2004 just before his weight loss surgery. We became incredible friends through "paying it forward" to the weight loss surgery community. Debra Flores joined us to create RYD Obesity and the three of us have been inseparable since. This is Ramon's story. Thanks to Craig Thompson at The Weight Loss Surgery Channel I was given the opportunity to do a show called Weight Loss Surgery Journeys and the latest episode features Ramon. Please check it out at www.weightlosssurgerychannel.com and click on programs and choose WLS Journeys. My site is www.bariatricgirl.com.

  • @dionneval I believe it was nearly 500 pounds.

  • I just had my gastric bypass Roux-en-Y operation on Monday, Dec. 20th, 2010. I'm now out of the hospital, playing on the computer and taking pain medications!

  • @buddmar Well Merry Christmas and congratulations!! What a great Christmas present. Next year at this time will be very different for you. Take it easy as you heal and have a wonderful holiday.
