I read hogans book too and one of the funniest things I've ever read is how he described how andre would take a shit on his bed in a japanese hotelroom and call him over to check it out while andre was laughing his ass off, as hogan was looking at this elephant pile of shit on the white blankets

I remember Hogans book on how much fun they had wrestling in Japan, with Andre' & his...lady friends keeping Hogan up with the noise and how the big guy solved his bathroom problems. It's a great read

Absolutely. The WM3 match was SO pathetic. Funny how there are people who swear by it and seem to think it was so awesome. Those are generally the same people who think that was the first time Andre had been slammed.

Andre had serious back problems that night and all hogan did was slam him, a leg drop and a few crappy punches. Andre was very heavy then, but Warrior slammed him when he was even heavier. Andre was incredible when he was thinner, but anyone will tell you that Hogan could not wrestle. Good role model at the time, but bad wrestler.

ANDRE needed back surgery, was 41 yrs old by WM3. of course match was slow. lasted 13-14 minutes? somewhere there

hogan vs andre 1st time was in 1980 hogan heel andre face......there is one match they had in a baseball diamond trying find that, i think thats there first one

Shaea Stadium 1980. However that wasn't there first match. I think the first one was actually on t.v. when Andre was being interviewed and Hogan and Blassie came out and challenged him. They had a match and Hogan actually bodyslammed him a few moments into it.

Harley Race did as well! McMahon was so set on erasing the past by the mid to late 80's. Of course it's pre determined and it IS a show,but he dumbed it down so much. Think about how AWFUL the WWF became in the late 80's and into the 90's.
