@jean603 i threw up my first and third donation, so that's normal. i just gave blood just a few days, and it still hurts where they put the needle! so it's all fine!

@retardedbaboon Sorry.. You've been misinformed. Probably from the plasma center staff lying to you to keep your business. Yes, plasma goes to burn victims and hemophiliacs. However, plasma from plasma centers where you get paid for your donation, DO NOT go to those people. Those donations go to medical research and pharmaceuticals. FDA requirements state that no blood donor can be paid monetarily for their blood donation if their donation is going directly towards human transfusion.

We use to have those. But now we get these pre-made packs where the wrap is included, and donors don't get to choose their color anymore. Kind of a bummer. :/

What,, she gets to chose her tape? They give us this crappy tape. Falls off in 1 minute. The donor tech's get paid about $20,000 a year. Thats bad. They should make more. The ones I see at our donor center just read the paper. One tech, I hear her complain that she hates 2 other tech's LOL.. The tech said those are lazy bit*ches.
