Call this throw whatever you guys want..it's a "Takedown"..how's that. Don't use it if you can't get it to work for you, that's why there is a gazillion techniques on Youtube to choose from. This is one that's works for a lot of my students in competition so I thought I'd share it. For the record...that is a PURPLE belt I'm wearing (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). I have a Nidan (2nd degree Black Belt) in Judo, but teach full time at my BJJ academy.

I am actually Nidan in Judo, that is a BJJ Purple Belt I have on teaching basic takedowns to my BJJ beginners class.

Nice technique, I'm purple too in BJJ but not very good at throws and takedowns, I trained this today but I kept doing something a little wrong, this video helped me. I was not finding this variation too, keep it up with the good work.

Hey man nice job teaching I am a Black Belt Instructor for the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program as Well as a Black Belt in JuJitsu and a green Belt in Karate so I understand the teaching thing and people on here making stupid comments about the way you teach is dumb well done brother!!!
