Aar Maanta performed live with his band at the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Somalia. He sang many songs including this one called Home. "I left home but home never left my heart" what a chorus for a great song he wrote for his motherland. Just before he sang this song he explained what The Somali Republic meant to him and how his family originally escaped Ethiopian prosecution and oppression for Somalia only for Somalia to turn on it self and fall apart.
