The Virgin Mary has indeed been mentioned in the Quran, in fact these verses are from the chapter in the Quran named "Mary"!. In Islam, we believe that Mary is the Number 1 most pious woman of all times; Jesus was born of virgin birth but the difference is that he is believed to be a great Prophet, like Mohammad, and not the son of god. The central belief in Islam is that there is One God, no partners, no sons. I would urge you to read the Quran. We really need to understand each other better.

@evo55 How is Jesus (PBUH) God , gods son, and the holy spirit? Think about it.. who did he pray to,? Who did he decend to? Pray and decend to himself? lol The bible never even said to worship him. He cant be god and god's son at the same time. Make up your mind. I think you guys watch to much movies. GOD IS NOT A TRANSFORMER! God is God, the All knowing, all mighty, cant begot, and has never begotten and Jesus (peace be upon him) is his messenger!

@SaLCaPoNe100 God is a Transformer, God is Allah al-Musawwi, one of the 99 names of God. Allah al-Musawwi has evolved Jesus, the man, into God. Allah al-Rafi has exalted Jesus to Godhood for Allah exalts those who humble themselves to die for the sins mankind.

@SaLCaPoNe100 Jesus is God in that He is of the same essence as God. He is God from God, begotten and and made. Jesus is begotten of God as a ray of sunlight is begotten from the sun. Jesus is begotten of God by being born by the power of the Holy Spirit that overshadowed Mary. Jesus was also human, and as a human He prayed to God. God isa transformer, God is the evolver. God evolved Jesus, the man to evolve into God.

@Calsummersishere Muhammed did not follow the Golden Rule, he curses Christians & Jews in Quran 9:30. He condemns all who do not accept him as a prophet. True religion is meant to divide. True religion is meant to divide truth from error. Jesus said He came to bring a sword of division. Jesus' sword of division is a sword of truth that divides truth from error, and believers from unbelievers. The true God wants us to accept Jesus as the Son of God, our personal Saviour and the only path to God.

@evo55 I once heard someone say that when you are confused about another's beliefs you should remember the law that binds people of all faiths together --- the Golden Rule --- the call to treat one another as we wish to be treated. Religion is meant to unite not divide!! Just because someone is different or thinks differently doesnt mean they are deceiving or evil, etc. The true God wants peace and harmony. Maybe God has different paths for different people; and we are not to judge.

@Calsummersishere Muslims are good at deceiving those who have not studied the Bible or the Quran. They are like Satan, the great deceiver who tried to use the scriptures to deceive Jesus.
