So nice that the trumpet player gets to slow down after all that sliding around on his mouthpiece. A for effort.

I have to agree, this is a nice idea, but if you don't follow any of the notes, it's no longer a canon, it loses the structure, and it's more of "this is an improvisation that's kind of like the idea Nancarrow used for that one piece". I mean, it really doesn't even sound like there was an attempt at note accuracy.

its super technical. Notice how the bassoon Speeds up as the trumpet slows down thru the entire piece. It's interesting. As for right notes or a certain key.. I have no freakin clue. Listening to the original im sure it was just impossible to play it right. Nancarrow just went mad

@sandome Though your point is valid, make coherent thoughts before owning people.

@gestrumpet now I see: humor is in crisis, simple sarcasm is nowadays used as argument and you are the king of psychoANALsis.

@sandome dear sandome,
thanks so much for explaining to me that this is not correctly arranged. I, too, have a large pole inserted in my anus, so it is extremely difficult for me to understand humor. Without people like you, I would never understand any complexities of the world.

i really really really really really really really really really liked that!

@sandome so that's why we have to try

i can't breathe.
No, not foreign. I was Nancarrows Assistant for three years and I know this studio better than my bed. I mean, its funny what they do, no problem man, but Nancarrow NEVER wrote those notes, and its IMPOSSIBLE to play a 54 note canonic melody, in which the final note desapear in each repetition BY MEMORY. Also its IMPOSSIBLE to play the tempo radios just like that. To complicated for humans. IMPOSSIBLE

Arranged???? No, disarranged!! If you would at least tried to play ONE single correct note! But even it looks you never saw the score!!!!
