  • This is off of "KISS - Psycho Circus" For those who don't know.

Ace is afan of The Who so that could explain it.

Thanks for all your Monster updates i can't wait for the album to be released.

  • @FilGee100 Thanks, there's a new update coming up!

  • Guitar riff sounds like the Who.

  • @sabbath178 Ya, it's not an official riff, but very interesting! -TJ246

  • thumbs up if you said yeah in 0:21 at the same time that paul when you readed "back to the classic destroyer sound"

  • @thevisionary2007 I knew about Peter, and I've heard stuff about Ace in the earlier days but I didn't know any specific songs that he had a ghost player for. But I did hear about the Kulick thing before, I don't remember where though. Sweet Pain will never be the same. D; lol

  • Can't wait- those extras sound awesome! Leave it to Gene and Paul to do it differently! Everyone else in the biz is all iTunes, social media, whatever. KISS sez screw that, we are going to do it our way! That is why they are and always will be rock's undisputed kings! You can't bootleg download a 4'x3' book! If the whole package cost $100, I'll be getting it!

  • @HawkBasham They did that a lot, it goes back to Destroyer, some of the solo's were not really Ace, specifically "Sweet Pain". Rumor has it, it was Bob Kulick, Bruce's older brother, who was the original first guitarist until Ace did his last-minute audition. Peter Criss wasn't the drummer on Unmasked (1980), it was Anton Fig, who later was the drummer for Frehley's Comet. (But you probably know that LOL If so, just ignore me, I'm just showing off!)

  • @FilGee100 Ace didn't play guitar hardly at all on Psycho Circus other than Into the Void and (maybe) one other song. Can't recall, sorry. Tommy Thayer surprisingly played/wrote a lot of the songs as a "ghost musician".
