Super Mario Sleigh Ride

This was my final animation assignment for my Intro to 3D Art class during my Fall 2007 semester at Champlain College. The assignment was to create an animation at least 15 seconds long, have everything textured, rigged if necessary, and have light source.

Looking back, I could have done a lot of things better. However, it's far from poor work. I am very happy of how it turned out. I made all of the textures myself, quadrupled the length requirement, and blew a lot of the other students' projects out of the water.

I've learned a lot of new skills and techniques from my 3D Modeling class (which I am currently taking this semester) that would improve the overall appeal of this animation. Perhaps I'll go back and touch this animation up someday.

The song is called "Super Mario World Super Mario's Sleigh Ride" and it's by One-Up Mushrooms.
